Detox radish and cucumber salad

This zesty salad is ready in no time, very light and refreshing. Radishes are rich in vitamin C and also provide a host of phytonutrients that seem to bring a range of health benefits, most notably to help our body main detoxifying organ, the liver. Cucumber is rich in potassium which make it great for this hot weather.

It’s hot in London, and my body needs something light and refreshing. This zesty salad is ready in no time, very light and refreshing.

Ingredients

  • half a cucumber
  • 7-8 radishes
  • a sprinkle of extra-virgin olive oil
  • a dash of lemon juice
  • a dash of wholegrain mustard
  • a little of sea salt to taste

Finely slice the radishes and cucumber, put them in little bowl and the seasoning. Make sure you add just a tiny bit of olive oil, as you don’t want to overpower the ingredients of this salad. Mix and then place in a serving plate.
